Pastoral Care

Our faith, wellbeing, social and emotional learning programs endeavour to ensure students make a calm and safe journey through their secondary education at the college. At St Monica’s College, all girls know they are cared for individually.

The pastoral care of each student makes the years of adolescent development a shared experience between the family and the College. An embedded vertical House system promotes pastoral care and builds communities within the larger College community. The College offers a faith environment grounded in the Sisters of Mercy teachings where all are accepted unconditionally. The College respects the life journey of each individual and aims to engage young women in academic, spiritual, sporting, cultural and leadership pursuits, which will engage their heads and hearts in both the current context and into futures filled with promise and possibility.
